Jason Aldean and Family "Okay" After Photo Scandal

It was a story that rocked the country music fandom.  Jason Aldean, whose career and marriage to his high school sweetheart has endeared him to so many but, after a photo scandal showed him being less than faithful with another woman, things quickly derailed.

Aldean immediately went into damage control mode, explaining that he had had too much to drink that night and, despite how cozy the pictures looks, he did not go home with American Idol contestant, Brittany Kerr, that night (she has also apologized for her role).  Instead, he maintains that he went home and is mostly embarrassed about everything.

The 35-year-old says that things are good at home and that he and his family are okay.  He did concede that, while his wife may be understanding, not everyone is going to be as easily convinced: "I know everybody's kinda going to have their opinion, and for the people that know me and know what I'm about ... the people that are standing by us and supporting us, all I've got to say to them is thanks," he said.

He went on to say that he really appreciates his fans’ support through a “really unfortunate” situation.
