The multi-talented actor, writer and musician James Franco has released a new video for his nostalgic song ‘Love in the Old Days’.  The track comes from Franco’s new band called ‘Daddy’ that includes the 'Pineapple Express' star and his partner, artist Tim O'Keefe.

After meeting up at the Rhode Island School of Design, the duo has been working on the new track and those that will accompany the love song on their soon to be released debut album ‘MotorCity’, as confirmed by Rolling Stone.  The LP will hit shelves this coming Tuesday, Sept. 25th.  After checking out the ‘Love in the Old Days’ video fans will see Franco and his partner are after something new and entirely different as the actor talks his way through much of the song while a chorus plays out in the backdrop.

Describing what Daddy is striving for artistically, Franco told the L.A. Times they plan “to push beyond the sonic space of music into the surrounding ecology. Daddy investigates the territories of film/video, installation, and performance while simultaneously exploring the connections that form between them,” Franco shared about Daddy.

Check out Daddy’s ‘Love in the Old Days’ music video below where the clip features an array of colors, girls and couples in love with a picture of Franco’s parents closing out the piece.
