Jack White Close to Finishing Next Solo Album
Jack White's sophomore solo album could see its release take place this year. The 38-year-old rocker recently told his fans in an online chat that production work on his next disc will soon be finished, which means that we should expect it to hit stores in a few months.
"I'm producing two albums this month, and finishing them," White wrote. "One of them is mine."
White rose to fame during his time with "The White Stripes" – a band he co-founded in the mind-90s before disbanding it in 2011. After it, he released his debut solo album "Blunderbuss" – which was one of the biggest hits of 2012 and also earned him multiple nominations at last year's Grammy Awards.
But the solo album is not all White is busy developing these days. As his aforementioned quotes suggest, he is also producing a second project, which could very well be the third album of his rock supergroup "The Dead Weather." The four-member band is expected to release the compilation containing new music next year.
