"Insatiable" Video Review
"Insatiable", Nadine Coyle's album's title track, will serve as the lead single when it is released on 1 November. Co-written with Guy Chambers and produced by new comer Ricci Riccardi, the song showcases a harder, guitar-led sound for the pop singer. It is said to be "ballsy and Eighties-influenced", receiving comparisons to The Bangles.
Coyle said she knew it was going to be a hit as soon as they finished it, because it was so catchy. She said, "I just knew we had something special when we wrote that song."
The music video is directed by Wayne Isham who has previously worked with Britney Spears, Muse and Pink Floyd. Last month, Coyle and Isham were forced to "go back and re edit" the clip when the original finished product was deemed too sexy for TV. Although failing "a test for TV," the saucy edit will still be made available for fans' viewing pleasure via viral release "shortly." While the tame version features Coyle with fake rain pouring on her, the saucy one apparently will have her soaking and dripping wet in real water.
Giving a small hint about the sexy nature of the video, Coyle previously teased, "It was so much fun making the video - even though I was sprayed with water and had a bad neck afterwards after all the hair flicking and rocking out I did!".
Coyle is set to release "Insatiable" on November 1st, while Cole's new single "Promise This" arrives in stores a week earlier.
