Imagine Dragons to Unveil New Song 'Battle Cry' At Transformers 4 Premiere
Imagine Dragons has made a brand new song titled "Battle Cry" for Paramount Pictures' upcoming sci-fi film "Transformers: Age of Extinction", according to its director Michael Bay.
The news was broken through a statement posted on Bay's website in which he revealed that the band will present the said song at next month's world premiere.
The statement further went on to say that "Battle Cry" has been used in critical points in the film. Moreover, the band has also contributed to the movie's score, which has been composed by Steve Jablonsky.
"We're incredibly lucky that Dan, Wayne, Ben and Daniel were available to work with us," Bay wrote. "I remember being drawn to the emotion of 'Demons' and 'Radioactive' the first time I heard those songs, and I knew I wanted that same energy and heart for this movie. They've created a really epic, otherworldly sound for 'Battle Cry'."
The Dragons' involvement in the fourth installation of the Transformer series has been on the cards ever since they appeared in a recent promo for the movie.
The world premiere for "Transformers: Age of Extinction" will be held in Hong Kong on June 19.
