Iggy Azalea Reveals She’s Putting Out a Rita Ora Collaboration
Iggy Azalea just became hot with new single “Fancy” and an Ariana Grande collaboration. So, with “Fancy” at the top of the Billboard Hot 100, many wonder what her next move will be.
HotNewHipHop caught up with the Australian rapper at the recent Summer Jam, where she spoke about putting out a new single with Rita Ora.
The rapper/model explained: "The next song that I'm going to put out as a single will be ‘Black Widow’ with Rita Ora. We're gonna have a very crazy music video, with a lot of other people that you guys may know, playing different characters. I'm really excited about it."
“Black Widow” is off The New Classic, her first full-length studio album that dropped earlier this year and peaked at No. 3 on the Billboard 200.
This release follows a string of EPs and mixtapes dating back to 2011, including Change your Life, Glory, Ignorant Art, and TrapGold.
As well, “Fancy” is Azalea’s first big solo single. Prior to this, her highest-charting on her own was “Work,” which reached No. 63 on the Billboard Hot 100. Others, including “Bounce” and “Change Your Life,” charted on the Bubbling Under Hot 100.
Along with being a featured artist on Ariana Grande’s latest track, the rapper has collaborated with dance music producer Steve Aoki on “Beat Down.”
