"Hurricane" Video Review
The best way to describe the new video from 30 Seconds to Mars is "a meditation on the violence of sex and the sex of violence".
The music video for "Hurricane" is almost 14 minutes long and, for now, it struggles to get on the TV stations, even with the non-explicit version.
Bartholomew Cubbins aka Jared Leto, who also directed the clip, wonders why people are so offended by the sexual images in an EW interview. "I just think it's interesting that when you turn on the news or whatever else catches your interest, how much violence and negativity is available out there." "As soon as it comes time for sexuality, it's a big shock that people are sexual beings. It's an interesting double standard to me."
