"Hot n Fun" Video Review

Yes, the stupid in the Katy Perry-inspired songtitle may hurt your head, but this new N.E.R.D. jawn means serious business. Like Pharrell says in the song, the bass line is hypnotic. It's alluring and repetitive qualities make "Hot N Fun" (featuring Nelly Furtado) ideal for any dance floor. This song is indeed made for people who "don't want to think no more and just want to feel".

Built to pump in the clubs with a self-described "hypnotizing bass-line" and a heavy electro feel, the song has much higher aspirations. "This is stadium music, 50,000 at a time," N.E.R.D. proclaim on the breathy and sultry chorus of 'Hot n Fun.'

At the end of the track's short three minutes, Pharrell announces that a new N.E.R.D. album, called Nothing will be released on June 15th. "It's a whole new experience," he teases as the beat trails off. They performed the single recently live at the Levi's Relaunch Party.
