"Homecoming" Video Review
"Homecoming" is the twelfth track and the fifth single taken from Kanye West's album Graduation to be released in the United Kingdom. The song will be released in the UK instead of "Flashing Lights" which is serving as the fourth single in the rest of the world.
The song features vocals by lead singer Chris Martin from Coldplay. Some of the lyrics were taken from Common's "I Used to Love H.E.R. (Hip Hop in its Essence and Real)."
The song's lyrics were originally recorded by West with John Legend singing a different hook with the song called "Home" (which was circulated on the mixtape Freshmen Adjustment). However, the Legend version was cut in favour of Martin's, which West and he worked on together at Abbey Road Studios in 2006.
