Hollywood Undead Release 'American Tragedy' and Soar to Number Four on Billboard Hot 200 Hollywood Undead Release Their Latest Album

American rap rock band, Hollywood Undead, has recently released their second album "American Tragedy". Much to their surprise, the album has broken through the Billboard Hot 200 chart soaring up to the number 4 position and selling around 70,000 copies within its first week of release. Currently they are further supporting their new album with a headlining tour and in-store appearances.

Surprised at their achievement, band member Charlie Scene said, "I gotta be honest with everyone: I was really looking forward to the opportunity to be on top of Britney this week, but being right behind her and Adele is a memory we'll relish forever."

Musically, they are a band who combines rap with rock along with a broad use of musical instruments. To get themselves even more noticed, they are recognisable by hiding their faces behind masks. And just when they think that their fans are starting to identify them, the band-members change the masks. As band-member Johnny 3 Tears explained,"We wanted to keep it interesting." Critics have commented that these guys really know how to put on a great show when they put on their masks, reminiscent of the days of Kiss. Further commentators state that the cost of their concert tickets is worth every cent.

Prior to the release of the album, the rockers released three singles 'Hear Me Now', 'Comin' in Hot' and 'Been to Hell'. The track "Hear Me Now" was released last December for radio, on the band's YouTube site, and also online. Band member, J-Dog, who plays rhythm guitar, keyboards and vocals, commented that this is without a doubt his favourite track so far. The song tells the story of a depressed person, taking a very sombre tone, even though the musical instruments make a big sounding rock hit. Within days of release, the track rocketed to the number 2 spot on the iTunes Rock Chart.

Hollywood Undead are in the process of becoming an international spectacle. Further information is available at their website.
