Hilary Duff's 'Chasing the Sun' Coming On July 29
Hilary Duff has confirmed that she will end her seven-year music hiatus later this year with a new album.
The 26-year-old singer, whose last album "Dignity" came out in 2007, will release the fifth set of her career under RCA Records, and is busy these days working on its lead song, "Chasing the Sun."
The said song will be made available for download on iTunes this coming Tuesday (July 29). Its music video has already been made and will be viewable through VEVO on the same day.
While explaining the song, Duff said: " 'Chasing the Sun' is a light and fun summer song that I hope helps people to feel a little more carefree."
She recently teased her fans with a snippet of the song through her official Instagram account. In the shared video she can be seen dancing on her bed to "Chasing the Sun."
"I've worked very hard and the album is a great representation of the experiences I've had in my life and where I want to go from here!" the former Disney star said of her yet-unnamed forthcoming album. "I took a break from music for quite awhile, but it gave me the power to choose my next steps carefully and I'm really proud of the album I've made."
