Grammy Award Night Performers 2012 Announced

Music industry's night of nights, the 54th Annual Grammy Awards, has just officially announced the list of performers for the night. The list is long, but some of the acts on the night include Taylor Swift, Bruno Mars, Foo Fighters, Nicki Minaj, Jason Aldean and Kelly Clarkson.

This year is the first time that Nicki Minaj and Jason Aldean will be gracing the Grammy stage.

Also known is that Jason Aldean and Kelly Clarkson will be presenting a joint performance, probably the duet Don't You Wanna Stay - a track nominated for Best Country Duo/Group Performance

The final list of performers usually gets updated daily, right up until the gala night, as does the list of presenters.

The talk is hopeful that Adele will open the night, but having recent surgery on her throat is now casting some doubts. Everyone knows that she will only be available subject to her doctor's permission. With about a month to go until the 12th February, everybody, include Adele, is hoping that all heals well soon, so that she is given the green light to sing on the night. It is known that Adele will be able to perform at the BRIT Awards in London on 21st February, but the Grammy Awards night might just be too early soon.

At the top of the list this year is Kanye West, collecting seven nominations. Who can resist All Of The Lights, for which he got the nomination for Song of the Year. However, not yet is it known if the "Beautiful Dark twisted Fantasy" rapper is going to perform on the stage on the night. In past years, the biggest nominee usually gets that opportunity.
