"Got Money" Video Review
"Got Money" is the third official single from Lil Wayne's sixth studio album, "Tha Carter III". The track features artist T-Pain and is produced by Play-n-Skillz. This songs samples lyrics from Hurricane Chris's single "The Hand Clap".
The video was shot on June 23, 2008, the same day the video for "A Milli" was shot, in Los Angeles and is a follow up to the cliffhanger of "A Milli." The video is directed by Gil Green.
Lil Wayne has claimed on his video blog that this video is based on the 2006 film "Inside Man. The video features Young Money artist Mack Maine.
Ray J, Shorty Mack, Nicki Minaj, Birdman, Tyga and Lil Chuckee make cameo appearances in. In the end, Lil Wayne is the only one arrested while the crew escapes with the money. This video leads to his next single "Mrs. Officer".
