Pepe Deluxé are James Spectrum (AKA Jari Salo) and JA-Jazz (AKA Tomi Paajanen) who have been unleashing dizzying sonic blasts since the mid 90’s.

This latest single shows just why Pepe Deluxé’s production techniques are held in such high esteem by their musical peers. ‘Go For Blue’ is a kinetic, skuzzy, psychedelic freakout strong enough to singe your eyebrows, coming on like Ken Nordine on brown acid: Free wheeling lyrics about all the colours of the rainbow with more than enough free love to be shared around!

Glasgow’s Optimo provide a re-fit that straightens out the gnarled psychedelia of the original into a hands-in-the-air summer anthem. On the flip, Viva Voce add a spiritual dimension with a full gospel choir, while Lost Idol re-records the vocal to work the hypnotic groove to the Nth degree.
