Yes he’s still around and no he’s not gone in hiding or given up the rap game for watches or jewelry. Lil Flip aka a million other names is about to drop a new album in the very near future and here’s the brand new video from that upcoming album. It’s “Ghetto Mindstate” which features the smooth vocals of none other than Lyfe Jennings as Flip raps and reminices about life and living in the Ghetto Mindstate as he’s calling it.

If this is a preview of what we can expect on this album then I think Flip is well on his way back to the top of the charts and the hearts of the south. Having fallen off with mindless hooks of pop music and tracks of nothing but love for jewelry and himself the boy was slipping out of the minds of the Texas crowd and living for the masses. I think from what I’ve heard on mixtapes and tracks that Flip is back to what got him in the door in the first place and I’m looking forward to it.
