Frank Ocean and Chris Brown Get Into Fight Outside Recording Studio
Yesterday, Frank Ocean and Chris Brown got into a fight outside of a West Hollywood recording studio. While the specific details are not yet clear, six people are reportedly involved, including members from Ocean’s entourage, and the Channel Orange singer spoke with police and then addressed the incident on Twitter.
According to TMZ, Brown left the Westlake Studio when Ocean and his crowd blocked his way. Brown then tried to shake Ocean’s hand. A brawl, of sorts, erupted, with Ocean reportedly going after Brown. Ocean is reported with stating: "This is my studio, this is my parking spot."
While the “Turn Up The Music” singer and his entourage left, the R&B star stayed at the scene.
Ocean later wrote on Twitter: "Got jumped by Chris and a couple guys. Cut my finger now I can't play w two hands at the Grammys."
Since Sunday night, Brown is now a suspect in a battery report. About the incident, an LAPD sheriff’s spokesperson said: "It is our understanding it does not rise to the level of an alleged assault. As a matter of fact, it could be a minor scuffle over a parking spot.”
Brown, as well, has since responded – but in perhaps not the most appropriate manner. According to Us Weekly, he posted a picture of Jesus on the cross to Instagram, accompanying it with the following caption: "Painting the way I feel today. Focus on what matters!"
