Foster The People Releases The Music Video For 'Call It What You Want'

Foster the People has just released the music video for Call It What You Want – and what a music video it is.  The clip doesn't make much sense, it doesn't seem to have a theme or a story, so just call it what you want!

But the song is going to make waves – or more like tsunamis. "Call It What You Want" is a great song … a track that is destined to be not only a popular dance floor favourite, but a seriously stunning party anthem.  Listen to the song once, and soon you will be shouting "CALL IT WHAT YOU WANT" as loud as you possibly can. But you probably won't be able to listen just once!

The music video is another story. Or maybe it doesn't have one.  The clip is seriously bizarre, but in a comic sort of way. From the very first scene with all the scrap paper all over the floor, to the huge gold fists nudged up against a bandmember's face, to the luscious babes lying on the couch and floor, nothing makes any sense in the beginning. And by the time the end of the vid has passed, you are no wiser.

Why, and from where, do the ladies get the gold megaphones?

Why does he hold an umbrella over his head when inside the room?

Sit through to the end of the clip, and you will have another twenty "Why?" questions to which you will have no answer. But you will be tapping your toes, and shouting out "Call it what you want" in perfect time with everyone else in the clip. It is seriously good entertainment!

Every nightclub across the country will do well to throw the "Call It What You Want" music video up on the giant plasma screen. It is a great clip.
