"Forever Fades Away" Video Review

A decidedly un-psychobilly single heralds the arrival of these SoCal punks' fourth album, Music From Regions Beyond. No slappy stand-up bass, no hardcore-ish chants at the chorus; however, singer Nick 13's smooth vocals and yearning lyrical matter, as well as some real "Don't Fear the Reaper" guitars, make for a song that goes perfectly with the lonely wanderings of sullen teenagers. A stylistic shift for the band, but not an altogether unsuccessful one.
