Fergie is Leaving the Black Eyed Peas

It’s hard to believe but the rumors are true – Fergie has decided to leave the Black Eyed Peas and focus on her personal life.  She and her husband, Transformers star, Josh Duhamel, have married in 2009 after five years of dating and, while they’ve had their share of ups and downs (namely the allegations that he has had multiple affairs), they have managed to stay together and, now, are ready to start a family.  Some women choose to keep going, even well into their pregnancy, but every situation is different and, hopefully, this pair will choose what is best for their little family.

Peas bandmate, Taboo, confirmed that Fergie will be stepping away from the group in December: "We have to respect Ferg. Ferg is our sister. She definitely wants to have a family, and we're happy for her,"

It is unclear whether Fergie will be leaving the Black Eyed Peas permanently or if this is simply a temporary situation.  She definitely is a major reason for the group’s success so, hopefully, she will return at some point in the future.
