Expect Several Collaborations for Next One Direction Album
One Direction just scored another hit album at the end of 2013 with Midnight Memories. A fourth album to follow has been rumored and hinted at on social media, but the boyband has come forward with very little information.
While the release is supposedly being recorded on the road while 1D tours, FuseTV started putting together the facts to make a more coherent picture of what listeners should expect. Although no one, except maybe the boyband and their producer, know the true release date, it’s rumored to be titled Where We Are, because of their recent tour, and will feature several collaborations.
As Fuse points out, One Direction’s members have been in the studio with what appears to be more than your average list of collaborators: Emeli Sande, Naughty Boy, Pharrell, John Legend, The 1975, Good Charlotte, OneRepublic’s Ryan Tedder, Coldplay, McFly, Kodaline, John Henry, Jamie Scott, and Julian Bunette.
Obviously, some of these, like Naughty Boy, may be there more as producers, but as least based on what Fuse dug up, this looks like a fairly extensive list of collaborators.
Aside from this, the group is expected to keep up the same rock-leaning sound as its predecessor, but based on the recent remix from Liam Payne for “You & I,” they might be taking on more behind-the-scenes roles, so we’ll have to wait and see.
