Expect Motherhood to Give Third Adele Album a Warmer Feel
A source told Us Weekly in recent months that Adele’s upcoming third album will have a warmer tone, one attributed to motherhood. The singer just gave birth on Friday October 19, and those close to her are already confirming the previous assertion.
According to friends, her third album will celebrate the birth of her son and, with a warmer, happier tone, be a departure from her first two releases, 19 and 21. Dan Wilson, a U.S.-based collaborator, told The Mirror: "She’s never been happier. We have exchanged a couple of emails. Adele is in a good place. I am concentrating on writing as many songs as I can."
Wilson additionally confirmed that Adele has other projects in the works, aside from the recent James Bond theme “Skyfall.” A new album, he went onto say, may even come out as early as next fall. About upcoming sounds from the “Rumor Has It” singer, Wilson said: “Her music is based around how happy she has been with Simon and the changes that come from being a mother. She has quite a few tunes and people are going to be surprised by the new sound, it’s incredible."
Along with new music, Adele is expected to collaborate with fashion brand Burberry. Expected to give Burberry a boost after a decade associated with chav culture, Adele may be assuming a creative direction, consultative, or designing role.
