"Everything To Me" Video Review

"Everything to Me" is a song by American singer Monica, recorded for her sixth studio album "Still Standing". Written by Jazmine Sullivan and produced by Missy Elliott and Cainon Lamb, it contains a sample of the 1981 recording "Silly" as penned by Fritz Baskett, Clarence McDonald, and June Williams and performed by Deniece Williams.

The music video for "Everything to Me" was shot by director Benny Boom, based on a treatment by Chris Robinson and Boom. It was filmed in Los Angeles, California on February 8, 2010. In the video, Monica portrays a married woman who has a daughter with NFL player Chad Ochocinco. When a woman tries to ruin her happy life by flirting with Chad, she fights her off in the courtroom, putting the home-wrecker behind the bars.

In the video, Monica is wearing dresses designed by Alexander McQueen. She dedicates the video to the late designer, stating "My new video 'Everything To Me', features several exclusive pieces from [Alexander McQueen's Collection], a beautiful reflection of his artistic spirit and love for fashion. I sincerely and lovingly dedicate my video to Alexander McQueen and his unforgettable legacy."
