Electric Zoo Festival is Fast Approaching!

One on week left to purchase ticket to one of the biggest electronic music festivals on the planet! Electric Zoo Festival is Fast Approaching!

With roughly one week to go, it is officially time to start getting excited about the Electric Zoo Festival being held at Randall’s Island Park in New York City on the upcoming Labor Day Weekend. Not only is 2011’s Electric Zoo Festival going to be one of the biggest music festivals to hit NYC ever, in both size and talent, but it has been recognized by the International Dance Music Awards as one of the top festivals in the country. Not too bad for an event that is only in its third year.

This year, Made Event, the organization responsible for hosting the festival, upped the ante and instead Electric Zoo being a 2 day long event, festival-goers who purchased full weekend passes are in store for a 3 day weekend of mind bending electronica performances by some of the industry’s heaviest hitters. A few of the headliners for 2011’s Electric Zoo Festival include Tiesto, David Guetta, Armin Van Buuren, Moby, Rusko, Bloody Beetroots Death Crew 77, Calvin Harris, Afrojack, Diplo, Chromeo, Boys Noize, ATB, MSTRKRFT, Richie Hawtin, Martin Solveig and Crookers, but that’s just skimming the surface of the 78 total acts to perform next weekend! In fact, many of the artists would be headliners at literally any other show or festival they performed at, but instead are listed alphabetically below these even “bigger” names, which is both unbelievable and amazing at the same time!

If you still have not bought a ticket for this year’s event, or are on the fence, it is in your best interest to act quick and purchase one before midnight tonight, when the ticket prices get hiked up as the festival draws nearer. If you live in the NYC area, or are willing to travel to it like many others, don’t miss out on one of the best music festivals the world ahs to offer or you’ll definitely be kicking yourself in a few weeks!
