"Early Winter" is a pop rock song written by Tim Rice-Oxley and Gwen Stefani, for Stefani's second album The Sweet Escape. The song received favorable reviews from music critics.
"Early Winter" sounds more reminiscent of an early No Doubt power ballad, than some of Gwen's more recent marching band, LAMB-dropping tunes.The song will be released as the album's fifth single in November 2007.
