American rapper Shwayze was born in Malibu, California and that’s where he met his partner Cisco Adler, the Whitestarr frontman. It was pretty cool, since Shwayze climb on the stage and started freestyling during Cisco’s performance. After that, the two started recording together and released three studio albums. Their latest “Islands In The Sun” includes some very interesting features from Kendrick Lamar, Sophie Stern, Nikko Gray and Sky Blu of LMFAO.
The song was produced by an imprint of Interscope/Suretone called Bananabeat Records, founded by Adler. Its roster includes Chris Young and Beardo.
