"Doe Boy Fresh" Video Review

Following their Oscar win, Three 6 got cinematic. This song tries for the epic tones that Southern rap has recently acquired -- think "What You Know" or "I Luv It" -- but it's also too tepid to deliver the goose bumps. There's little verse/chorus differentiation, and Chamillionaire's coiling flow is out of place and too material amongst the song's slasher synths.
