DMX Arrested For Fourth Time This Year
Rapper DMX made another addition to his long list of legal misdemeanors on Monday in South Carolina. The end result of his latest bout with law enforcement agencies was yet another ride to the police station in the back of a cop car. The reason? Apparently, the "Grand Champ" hitmaker was spotted driving a car that had no license plates, was uninsured, and on top of that, his driving license was suspended.
A cop stationed at the airport - who knew who the 42-year-old MC was and what kind of rap sheet he has – got attracted to the tags-less vehicle and found out after inspection that the car's celebrity driver was lacking valid documents. He was immediately apprehended and dispatched to Spartanburg County Detention Center, where he spent the next few hours before being allowed to leave but only after he posted a $1,335 bond.
This is the fourth time DMX was arrested for a driving-related offence this year. He began his annual spree in February with a simple 'driving without a license' incident before racking up back-to-back DUIs in the months of July and August.
There is no joy for him on the financial front either. He filed for legal bankruptcy a few months ago and owes millions to his creditors.
