Details Revealed for Little Mix’s Upcoming Sophomore Album
Details emerged about Little Mix’s upcoming album, scheduled to drop less than a year after their debut DNA, which sold 2 million copies across the globe.
According to a report from Billboard, the new album will be called Salute and will be their first released overseas. DNA came out in the U.S. last year, debuting at No. 4 on the Billboard 200. So far, a U.S. release date has not been announced. The album comes out November 11 everywhere else.
12 tracks, including recent single “Move,” will be featured. The track debuted officially on September 30. Group members Perrie Edwards and Jade Thirlwall introduced it during Nick Grimshaw’s BBC Radio 1 show last month, and within minutes after it played, the track became a Twitter trend. The single, however, will be available digitally on November 3.
For the X Factor winners, Salute is expected to be a more mature effort. While you can hear their familiar sounds on “Move,” the release features work from Girls Aloud’s Nicola Roberts and All Saints’ Shaznay Lewis. The full tracklist includes:
3. Little Me
4. Nothing Feels Like You
7. These Four Walls
8. About The Boy
10. Good Enough
11. Mr. Loverboy
12. A Different Beat
To support the release, Little Mix are scheduled to join Demi Lovato’s Neon Lights tour in February 2014. Joining them for part of the trek will be former U.K. X Factor contestant Cher Lloyd and Fifth Harmony.
