Details Released About Chris Brown’s Upcoming Album
Considering all of Chris Brown’s issues, from fighting with Frank Ocean and Drake to allegations he didn’t complete his community service, his personal life overshadows his music career. Brown, who has been doing few, if any, interviews has remained practically mum about his upcoming release. A press release came out on February 19 providing the most basic details about Brown’s in-the-works sixth album.
Brown, for this album, is working with past hit-making producers. Timbaland and Danja, who lent their skills to 2012’s Fortune, are returning, as is Diplo, who worked with Brown on 2011’s F.A.M.E. Aside from this, no release date or title has been revealed.
Previously, MTV spoke with production duo Da Internz, who were working with the “Turn Up The Music” singer at the time. About collaborating with the singer and rapper, they said: "It's really crazy with Chris because Chris can really do whatever the h-ll he wanna do. I've never seen anyone work as fast as him in the studio. His voice is incredible. He knows what he wants, you know what I mean? Like you'll play him a track and he'll be like, he'll just start talking about you know 'Oh, I know what this is; video, visual. I know who I would put on it.' "
Although Brown hasn’t said or revealed much about his musical endeavors, recent single “Home,” with a video featuring his travels and concerts in Frankfurt, Dubai, and Paris, came out recently. The track is expected to be on his sixth album. What do you think?
