Destiny’s Child Reunite on Michelle Williams’ New Single “Say Yes”
Destiny’s Child officially disbanded in 2005, seeing from that point Beyonce go into a successful solo career. However, since that point, the three definitive members – Beyonce, Kelly Rowland, and Michelle Williams – have reunited on occasion, with the most high profile being the 2013 Super Bowl Performance.
Now, Williams is promoting her own solo album, called Journey to Freedom, her fourth solo release overall. To draw attention to the album, one track, “Say Yes,” features all three members of Destiny’s Child.
On an EDM-influenced gospel track, all three members, as well as Beyonce’s sister Solange Knowles, all appear.

Destiny’s Child officially began in 1990 but didn’t find success until 1996, when The Writing’s on the Wall came out. That album featured such cuts as “Bills Bills Bills” and “Say My Name.” Although the trio went on hiatus in 2002, they came back together a couple of years later to put out their fourth and final album, Destiny Fulfilled.
Their 2013 reunion for the Super Bowl involved more than just a singing appearance. At the time, they trio put out new track “Nuclear,” an original cut off compilation disc Love Songs. As well, all three members reunited that year for “You’ve Changed,” on Rowland’s last solo effort Talk a Good Game.
