Demi Lovato Confesses to Being "A Brat" on X Factor

Simon Cowell shocked viewers at the end of the last season of X Factor by firing Paula Abdul and Nicole Scherzinger but then replaced the pair with surprising new judges – Britney Spears and Demi Lovato.  Before filming began, there was a lot of speculation about him adding the two younger women who have had a recent history with mental illness.

Britney has been touted as the “tough judge” and, while receiving less press, there have been reports of Lovato butting heads with Cowell.

The 19-year-old reveals: "Simon's great, but he nags on me so much that I don't know if I can take it any longer. I'm a brat.  I'm annoying. But I give it back to him."

Much like her judging nemesis, she is brutally honest with the hopefuls, even when it means hurting their feelings.

She says: ''It's really hard for me to smile if they're performing and they're horrible.  I have to be super super honest and sometimes I feel bad about it."

Between the drama surrounding Britney and the dynamic between Lovato and Cowell, this could be a really interesting season.
