"Dead And Gone" Video Review

"Dead and Gone" is the fourth official single off T.I.'s sixth album, "Paper Trail" and features Justin Timberlake. They performed this song at the 51st Grammy Awards.

The song is about T.I.'s close friend Philant Johnson who was killed on May 3, 2006,when T.I.'s crew was caught up in a shooting after a show in Cincinnati that left three injured and killed Johnson.

"It just seems like as long as I can remember, he was there," T.I. said of Johnson. "As long as I can remember, his mama and my mama were partners. His cousin and my uncle were partners. His auntie and my grandmama stayed up the street from one another. And we just always knew each other, and it was cool."

The video was directed by Chris Robinson and was filmed in the first week of February in Los Angeles, California. T.I. said about the video, which co-star Justin Timberlake, that "It will require both of our utmost abilities. Both of us will need to bring all we got, both performance-wise and maybe some acting."
