Since the early 1980's Annie Lennox has possessed one of the most arresting voices in popular music. The album, Songs of Mass Destruction, is due in stores October 2, 2007.

The first single is "Dark Road," is an astonishing ballad, a fierce piece of frustration and melancholy with Annie's trademark vocal power and lush textures.
