"Curious" Video Review
Listening to the new 4 Strings, one is bound to feel like they've been catapulted back to 2002. Unlike some other commercial trance artists, like Lasgo and DJ Sammy, 4 Strings has really brought nothing new to the table, and even for those of us who still love the swelling gorgeous vocal/synth riff sounds of Ian Van Dahl and others from 3 or 4 years ago, we don't really get much of that here.
The original single, Curious, with the lovely Tina Cousins working vocals, is a track devoid of feeling, of originality and of knowledge.
It has most of the elements of dance floor smash Take Me Away that ripped it up years ago and took the relatively unknown duo to new locations, dance floors and lounge rooms across the world in a instant. This, however, is repetitive and somewhat flat. With all that, Curious wmay do well in the charts, for a short time.
