'Crossfire Hurricane' Ready To Be Rolled Out
The Rolling Stones are on the verge of having their incredible career showcased on the silver screen as 'Crossfire Hurricane' starts being rolled out to the cinemas. The film is a chronicle of the main events in the illustrious career of the British rockers.
All reports state that fans will see a remarkable new perspective of the lives of the band-members as they changed the world. Pre Rolling Stones, teenagers listened to the blues. Once Mick Jagger grabbed the microphone, the world became hooked on rock and roll. The film shows it all: their unbelievable adventures, the early club gigs, the massive stadium extravaganzas ... where have you been if you do not know about the Voodoo Lounge? Yep, it's all there, in raw detail.
Never-before-seen footage will display it all. It's been stated that not only will the film delight, it might upset some viewers. But without doubt, observers will become thoroughly intrigued as the camera places them right before the band's most infamous escapades.
The title is taken from the first line of the 1968 hit "Jumpin' Jack Flash", which states, "I was born in a cross-fire hurricane." And the movie shows the rest ... the wild life, the drugs, the wild women, and of course the music and incredible concerts. But more than that, it shows off the foursome as awesome survivors.
In the early years, even Mick Jagger himself did not believe they would last more than a year or two. Let alone 50 years ... and still counting!
Although there have been some changes in the line-up over the years, fans will witness interviews with Mick Jagger, Keith Richards, Ronnie Wood, Charlie Watts and former Stones Mick Taylor and Bill Wyman.
"Crossfire Hurricane" will be out in October .. It'll be worth the wait.
