"Crack The Shutters" Video Review

Snow Patrol are out with the video to their new single "Crack The Shutters", the second release from the Northern Ireland alternative rock group's fifth album "A Hundred Million Suns", out now on Polydor/A&M.

"Crack the Shutters" is the second single which is written by frontman Gary Lightbody. "We make records with everything at our disposal, from things fresh out of the box to things that smell of mothballs," Lightbody said.

Meanwhile, commenting on his songwriting credit on the album, he noted that his work was "very simplistic". He explained, "What we do is melody and honesty, that is the core. I think the songs reach out as far as they do because people identify with it."
