Coldplay and Jay-Z to Perform in NYC on New Year's Eve
Coldplay have added three more concerts to their schedule for the month of December. The British rockers will first perform a live gig at Uncasville, Connecticut's Mohegan Sun Arena on December 29, before doing the same for the next two nights at the Barclays Center.
They will be joined by rapper Jay-Z on their New Year's Eve show at the Brooklyn Nets' home stadium. It will be the second time that Coldplay and Hova will combine to deliver a show for the New Year celebrations, as they had done the same two years ago in Las Vegas.
The "Viva la Vida" hitmakers haven't held a concert in New York City since 2005 so their two-night stay in The Big Apple will give the region's rock lovers the chance to see them live in action after seven years.
Tickets for the first Uncasville concert are scheduled to be made available for purchase tomorrow (November 16), while sales for the NYC gigs will open up from Saturday (November 17).
