'Who is Billy Mack?' you may be wondering. He's the invention of Richard Curtis, writer of the hit movie "Love Actually", and this song was integral to his role in the film. Billy Mack is in fact played by Bill Nighy, who was the comedic talent of the film with lines like "Kids... don't buy drugs. Wait until you're a rock star and they give them to you for free!" The song isn't that bad, and Bill plays his part perfectly, but in comparison to the other Christmas singles, it can only be classed as a novelty release.
