Chris Brown Launching Teen Charity to Support Arts Programs
It’s been an interesting couple of years for Chris Brown. After pleading guilty to assaulting Rihanna, many have questioned his character, particularly in light of the fact that a judge accused him of doing less than the assigned community service hours as well as his unceremonious dumping of girlfriend, Karrueche Tran, in order to spend more time with RiRi.
He’s trying to clean up his act, though.
It’s being reported that Brown is launching the Symphonic Love Foundation today. He is reportedly using his own money to create the program with the aim of protecting arts programs for teens in lower income areas.
A source explained that Breezy is passionate about the cause since the arts has been such an important part of his life and he wants every teen to have the opportunity to express themselves in a constructive way. They also added that the singer has “been quietly painting for years and sees it as a positive outlet for low income children."
According to reports, the foundation has been in planning for three years and will also include educational programs about domestic violence and HIV/AIDS. Kids will also have an area on the foundation’s website for sharing their artwork.
It sounds like an extremely worthy cause.
