Chris Brown Has Two Albums Planned for Summer 2014
We’ve been wondering what happened to Chris Brown’s supposedly-last album, X. As the singer claimed he would retire after putting out this release, the album originally set for November didn’t surface in stores, and instead, Brown put out mixtape X Files to hold fans over. Now this week, he announced a tentative release not just for this album but also a follow-up for his collaboration with Tyga.
Brown put out a tweet for X and Fan of a Fan, saying: “X album, Fan of a Fan ( the album) this SUMMER!!!!”
Right now, an exact date for either release hasn’t been announced. Meanwhile, the singer has been required to complete three months in anger management.
Since 2012, Brown has been putting out singles from X, with the latest being “Wildcat.” Prior to that, he released “Loyal,” with East and West Coast versions available, “Nobody’s Perfect,” “Don’t Think They Know,” and “Love More,” featuring Nicki Minaj.
All the way at the end of the summer in 2013, Brown announced plans for retirement, but from the looks of it, he’s continuing to put out music for the time being, so we’ll have to see what happens.
When it comes to Chris Brown’s career, what do you think he should do? Should he keep releasing music, or call it quits after these two albums?
