Chris Brown Denies Being Threatened by Jay-Z
During a recent interview with Los Angeles’ Power 106 radio station, Chris Brown had no trouble addressing a couple controversial rumors floating around.
The singer has been seen spending more time with Rihanna, much to the dismay of many fans (have you seen the posters about him in Sweden?) and their fellow musicians. After he pleaded guilty to assaulting her and their communication was limited by a restraining order, it seemed that the pair would be forced to move on and go their separate ways. Of course, as we know now, that is definitely not the case.
While there has been speculation about their relationship for years, things got a lot more intense when Rihanna told Oprah that Brown may have been the “love of her life.” Not too long after this very public confession, Brown broke up with his long-time girlfriend, Karreuche Tran.
When Rihanna and Brown appeared together at a Jay-Z show at the Barclays Center, there were reports that the veteran rapper who is very close to the Barbadian beauty, threatened to end Brown’s career if he hurt her again. Breezy says that those reports are absolutely not true.
"It was cordial," he explained. "It was real respectful. It was nothing like that. I went to the Center to see the show. People like to take it and run with it, because they have nothing else."
When it came to his feud with Drake, Brown was unable to answer questions regarding a brawl that left several people injured, including NBA star, Tony Parker, at a New York nightclub. "Only reason I can't talk about that is because we're dealing with some legal stuff," he said.
