Chris Brown Breaks Up with Girlfriend, She Blames Rihanna

Chris Brown is now a single man.  He and his girlfriend, Karrueche Tran, have called it quits after the singer was spotted getting cozy with his ex-girlfriend, Rihanna, at a club (where some say they disappeared into a bathroom stall for 20 minutes) and then at a Jay-Z show.  With rumors swirling that the pair are rekindling their romance, Tran simply tweeted “Bye Baby.”

Brown released his own statement today saying: "I have decided to be single to focus on my career.  I love Karrueche very much but I don't want to see her hurt over my friendship with Rihanna. I'd rather be single allowing us to both be happy in our lives."

Sadly, in a situation like this, someone is going to be hurt and Tran’s friends are saying that she really was in love with him and that she’s devastated by this turn of events – especially since Brown repeatedly told her that the rumors weren’t true and she believed him.

It’s a pretty clear indication that there is definitely something going on with Rihanna since he named her as part of the reason he was ending their relationship – in a public statement! 

Surely, he could have just told her privately and let the rest of us find out on our own?
