Cher Unhappy By Leaked Single “Woman’s World”
Cher’s 26th studio album, and her first release in a decade, has been slow to form. But the singer revealed over the summer that a single is to drop sometime over the fall. Unfortunately, while no tracks have been named, a 15-second clip surfaced on October 21, and Cher isn’t too pleased.
As one of the more recent artists to find her material leaked, Cher wrote on Twitter: "I'm upset about the leak. It's not the End of The World , but,Dont understand how Club in Michigan played min of it? It's not final mix!”
Explaining that this brief clip is not final, she said: "Vocal sounds different , well there's more but I'm not going 2 Stress, it's just it's my 1st cd in a gazzion yrs. & I've worked so hard on it. wanted it 2come out, like it is now."
Cher went onto explain why she’s not happy with the material appearing unfinished and ahead of schedule, saying: "Guys don't sweat it . I have 2 real problems with this leak ! 1st I wanted ppl to hear final mix & we haven't done video ! Also record co had changed roll out date to jan.they wanted 2have videos finished, world promo tour etc etc 2 coincide."
Although most links to the track have since been taken down, the song, “Woman’s World,” is still up on PerezHilton.com. To hear it, listen here.
What do you think of the song? Cher’s upcoming album, which still appears to be untitled, is expected to have multiple collaborations, including Pink and Timbaland. Lady Gaga’s song “The Greatest Thing” is also said to have made the cut.
