Cher, Ed Sheeran, Miguel and Ryan Tedder Join 'The Voice; As Mentors
The next season of the singing reality TV show, "The Voice," will feature a music legend and three well-established, but relatively young artists as mentors for the participants.
The personnel in question are Cher, Ed Sheeran, Miguel and Ryan Tedder, all four of whom will be seen guiding the aspiring singers on the show when the series resumes for its fifth instalment on September 23.
About the induction of new mentors, NBC Entertainment's President of Late Night and Alternative Programming, Paul Telegdy said: "This group of wildly successful musicians will add their distinctive talents to their respective teams. I know Christina, Adam, CeeLo and Blake are very much looking forward to having them come aboard."
"The Voice" season five's judging panel will also feature two changes. Last season's panelists Usher and Shakira have gone out to make way for some old faces. "Gnarls Barkley" member Cee Lo Green and pop diva X-tina, who sat out season four, will be taking over from them. The outgoing duo is expected to return for season six next year.
