Carrie Underwood Denies Feuding With Taylor Swift

Carrie Underwood has rubbished media reports which claimed there is a growing rift between her and her fellow country music singer Taylor Swift and that the two have been feuding with each other.

Rumours of tensions between the two stars first emerged towards the end of last year after Underwood and Brad Paisley made fun of Swift's freshly-ended relationship with Conor Kennedy at the CMA Awards stage.

Back then, an alleged insider told the press that Swift dislikes the "American Idol" alumna because of her rude attitude towards her. "Taylor feels Carrie is always rude to her, so she steers clear of her," the source said.

But Underwood has now made it clear that there is not a shred of truth in those reports and they are nothing but a fabrication of the media.

"No, not that I know of at least. Every magazine, newspaper or gossip TV shows, they can just get away with it by saying a 'source says' or 'a friend said' or 'an insider said.' I've read the most ridiculous things about myself when people do that," the 29-year-old crooner said.

To prove her point, she also revealed that she is a fan of Swift's music and added: "I really like 'I Knew You Were Trouble', which is one of her newer songs. It sounded a lot different for her. I liked the branching out, trying some different sounds."

So there you have it - Swift is not pissed at Underwood. However, the "Mean" singer is definitely mad at her former beau Harry Styles, and the "One Direction" member is widely believed to be the person she mocked at the Grammys on Sunday.

"He calls me up and he's like, 'I still love you' and I'm like, 'I'm sorry, I'm busy opening the Grammys,'" she said on stage in a fake British accent.
