"Carburetor" Video Review

The Sweet Ones are a Brooklyn based trio known for their loose style of Rock-and-Roll and unpredictable live show. Influenced by bands like The Minutemen and Modern Lovers and starting out in the DIY house show circuit of the East Coast, The Sweet Ones have given their sound a name: “JUNK ROCK,” which is a DIY, fend-for-yourself experimental mash-up of thrown away and underground styles.

Doug Cote, the band's singer, gave a few details about the Spookie Daly-directed music video, "You take a beating for your art, but good artists learn to take it and smile. I made this for all the cater-waiters of the world that have ever passed shrimp at a cocktail party...also, sometimes I feel like I'm getting my ass kicked!"
