"Can We Chill" Video Review

Ne-Yo continues his campaign to resist the female species (not that there’s anything wrong with that), but provides a fresh clue about whom he prefers instead. This time, some girl in a club wants to leave with him; he assures her that they eventually will, but for the moment he’s more concerned with not spilling his champagne on her (no, that’s not a euphemism…I don’t think), and he just wants to dance, dance, DANCE, DAMMIT, because “right now my song is playing.” Maybe he just means a song that he likes, but it’s also possible that he literally means one of his songs. Hilarious! Why leave with someone when you can dance to and with yourself? I’m totally on board with that sentiment (though less so with the ordinary melody).
