Bruno Mars To Perform ‘It Will Rain’ On The X Factor

‘Nothin on You’ singer Bruno Mars is scheduled to perform on the X Factor tonight.  Mars, who just won at the American Music Awards for 'Favorite Male Artist In Pop/Rock', will be singing his new song ‘It Will Rain’ that appears on the Twilight Saga’s Breaking Dawn soundtrack.  Tweeting his excitement yesterday, Bruno (per Capital FM) said - "I've been waiting my whole life to do a performance like this.  Get ready for tomorrow Hooligans."

Also joining Bruno Mars on the X Factor is former American Idol contestant Kelly Clarkson singing her new single ‘What Doesn’t Kill You’.  Aside from the excitement of both Bruno and Kelly, the X Factor’s result episode will feature the series nine contestants who are still battling it out to be this season’s winner of the competition series.  The show, that will eliminate two performers tonight, normally airs on Thursdays, but was bumped to this Wednesday due to the Thanksgiving holiday.

This latest performance to come from Bruno Mars goes hand in hand with the artist’s buzzing success in recent months.  After winning an AMA the other evening, the twenty-six year old who has been seen everywhere lately, showed his appreciation for his fans and family. “I want to thank the fans for voting.  I want to say hi to my family at home in Hawaii."

Mars, who beat out teen singer Justin Bieber and Pitbull in the 'Favorite Male Artist In Pop/Rock' category, was also gracious about his win over his musical peers.  "I'd love to share this award with my homies Pitbull and Justin Bieber. Guys, thank you so much."
