Bruno Mars Announces "Unorthodox Jukebox" Promo Tour
The Honolulu-born star made the announcement during his Tuesday's visit to "The Ellen DeGeneres Show" and also revealed that indie pop band "Fitz and The Tantrums" and British songstress Ellie Goulding will join him on some shows of his planned series.
Mars hasn't disclosed the schedule or any other details but he did say that the first part of his tour will cater to his fans in the US and Canada. Once the home leg is over, he plans on extending his tour to Europe too.
The "Grenade" crooner's revelation isn't a total surprise as he had been indicating implicitly that a tour is in the pipeline.
Meanwhile, another interesting thing happened during Mars' stint on "Ellen." A young girl from the audience asked him to be her prom date. While stars like Justin Timberlake and Mila Kunis have previously accepted random requests of similar kind from their fans, Mars' career-related obligations meant that he had to politely decline the offer. He did bring the girl on the talk show stage and danced with her on the famous song "Always and Forever."
