"Brooklyn (Go Hard)" Video Review
Jay-Z's "Brooklyn (Go Hard)" from the Notorious soundtrack is propelled by a sample of Santogold's "Shove It," which features the titular phrase in the opening line of the song.
Kanye produced the track, giving it a huge, cavernous sound, and Jay seems inspired an enlivened by the prospect of honoring Biggie through the cut. Santogold's contribution is mostly limited to the beat, but she also drops by for some bars in the latter portion of the song.
The video was directed by Evan Roth of Graffite Search Labs.
